Nintendo plans to add both Internet and T-DMB functionality to its Nintendo DS console in 2006. Browser software for the Internet functionality, allowing users to go online through the console's Wi-Fi connectivity, is expected to go on sale in Japan in June 2006. The company also plans to start marketing a T-DMB receiver card for the Nintendo DS console, with which users will be able to watch T-DMB programming. However, the company has not yet set a launch date and retail price for the T-DMB card.
